Jeera Rice


INGREDIENTS:
Basmati Rice : 1 cup
Jeera seeds - 1 tbs
Corainder powder - 1/2 tbs
Tumeric - 1/2 tbs
Green chilli -3 nos
Cashew - 1 tbs
Chopped coranider leaves - 3 tbs
Chopped mint leaves - 3 tbs
Salt for taste
Ghee - 1tbs
Water 2 cups
METHOD:
Wash the rice nicely & keep it aside for dry
Heat pan & add ghee in to it, once the ghee is hot add jeera & cashew & fry it till cashew becomes little brown.
Add Green chilli, chopped coriander & mint leaves & fry then for 1 or 2 mins
Add washed rice and fry it until it become little brown & then add coranider powder, tumeric & salt and off the stove.
cook the rice in electric cooker and add 2 cups water in it.
serve it hot.
