'Bombat' meaning fantastic in coloquial kannada, is often used to describe the good taste of the food. 'Adige' means cooking in kannada. Thanks to my mother-in-law for suggesting this name for my blog..
Even though I have named my blog as 'BombatAdige', there was nothing 'bombat' about cooking before marriage. Infact, the only reason I entered the kitchen was to eat something which my mother had prepared.
But things changed after my marriage. I had to learn cooking. Though it was tough initially, I was helped by my mother, mother-in-law and chikki (my aunt). I want to thank them for providing me good recipes, cooking tips and helping me to understand the basics of cooking.
Last but not the least I want to thank my life partner who has withstood all my cooking experiments during my initial cooking days :) and encouraged me to learn and try new recipes. He also helped me a lot in the design of this blog,without him I would not have been able to publish my blog successfully.
The main intent of this blog was for me, to keep a note of all the recipes which I have tried till now. But then I realised that it might also be helpful for others who like to experiment and try new recipes.. So I have shared a few recipes which I feel are 'Bombat!
